Ms Badenoch on Conservative Values, Opposing Correctly, etc., etc.
1. Here, Ms Badenoch answered questions from Sky News,
on 15 September, 2025.
2. Having reported these matters to her previously, I was disappointed
to hear her make such statements.
Main Points
- 0:01: "We are the only party - the Conservatives - who are working on dealing with the Government that we
have now.""
- 0:25: "The fact is: we are the ones who are making sure there is an effective opposition, in Parliament, to
the Government. At the same time we are doing that, Nigel Farage was in the U.S, telling them that our country
is like North Korea."
- 0:35: "We are focussed on our national interests and in making sure that we can get our economy going"
- 1:00 "I'm confident we will rebuild trust with the public but that's by doing the job that we have to do
now, properly: showing that we are united and that we can expose where Labour are going wrong. That is what I am
focussed on - on how we can make everyone in the country's life better."
- 1:35 "I am making sure that people understand what Conservative values are"
