Prime Minister,

1. I have encountered an account of purported serious misconduct by the government and intelligence services of the United Kingdom against a private individual (https://ungirdled.org/).
2. The author of the website claims that, for no reason discoverable to him, he has been target of an incessant campaign by the Government and the security services and that, as part of that campaign, he has been sectioned on the basis of false diagnoses - that means unlawfully.
(i). He says diagnoses supporting his detention do not attempt to provide him with reasons why the conclusions he reached are mistaken and that such diagnoses cannot be valid.
(a). He asserts a person may not correctly be diagnosed with a delusional disorder (which he says is his the diagnosis in his case) without clear and obvious proof of his error first having been put to him and without him having had the opportunity to alter his views in the face of that proof or to describe the deficiency of the proof.
3. The author claims to have reported the matter to you and, previously, to Mr Healey, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, among other authorities. He even goes as far as to accuse the judiciary and the police of complicity in such a campaign.
4. The author has suggested you produce a valid diagnosis that meets the condition at No.2.(i) and 2(i)(a), above.
5. In default of further information, there appears to be no way to evaluate his assertions fairly and to reach a safe conclusion, one way or the other.
6. Considering the gravity of the accusations, this email requests you address this matter according to his suggestion: to publish on a government website your response and to send to him such a document, quoting, verbatim, the section(s) of the document in which his reasoning is addressed directly and shown conclusively to be false.
(i). The author bemoans the death of the rule of law, accountability, transparency, national values and standards, which he says is evidenced by the refusal of authorities correctly to address this matter and to produce such a diagnosis.
(a). If, indeed, he has made such representations to authorities, and if the statements he makes are accurate, I am afraid his language is astonishing in its restraint.
7. It neither serves the public interest nor advances the reputation of to suffer such speculation to continue, when the entire matter might easily be settled by the simple production of such a document.
8. The author has requested you also send to him any response you might offer to this email (his email address is with_our_friends@protonmail.com). I, in turn, have sent him a copy of this email, to assist him in reckoning the petitions sent to you.
9. Please provide an indication as to when and where (the address of the Government website) your response might be expected.
10. Please acknowledge receipt of this email
11. Thank you for taking the time to consider my views.

Kind regards,
