Dell Technologies

Briefly:

  • I bought a computer from Dell Technologies, it became unserviceable within a few months.
  • Dell insisted on destroying the information on it before repairing it.
  • I informed Mr Michael Dell and the Board of Dell Technologies of the Campaign against me and that the evidence.
  • The Machine was still under warranty but they returned it in the same condition. I had to send it elsewhere and pay for it to be repaired with the data preserved: a task easily accomplished.
  • This website, and certainly the site-proper, to follow, would not have been possible had I permitted Dell to destroy that evidence.

1. In January, 2022, I bought a computer from Dell Technologies. Connection to the Internet through Wi-Fi was inadequate for most serious work and I could not save my data to the Cloud. I required a serviceable Internet connection: in April, I bought a dongle from Vodafone.
2. In the four months I had owned it, the Machine had functioned well. When I connected the Dongle, the Machine's system crashed immediately. When it rebooted, the Dongle would not work on it.
3. From that moment, the Machine failed frequently: the system often crashed and it would not connect to the Internet, using the dongle.
4. The fault had to be in the hardware (Dell), the software (Windows Operating System) or the connection (Vodafone). I wrote to Mr Nadella at Microsoft, Mr Michael Dell, and Mr Essam at Vodafone. I asked them to help discover the cause of the problems.
(i). I explained it was possible a malicious third party was responsible for the problems. I did not explain that view further.
5. Microsoft and Vodafone responded. Dell did not.
6. Receiving no response, I was obliged to provide Mr Dell with details and evidence of the Campaign against me, that he might take my communications to him more seriously. I invited him to put to me any questions he might have, to point out flaws in the evidence I produced, and the logic by which I arrived at my conclusions.
(i). Mr Dell, therefore, was or ought to have been aware of the Campaign and injustices in progress against me, the importance of the data on the Machine and gravity of the disruptions occasioned by the problems I reported to him.
7. In May, while I was still working with Microsoft to discover the cause of the problem. the Machine's system crashed again: it executed a recovery loop and became unserviceable. Dell Technologies collected it for repairs.
8. About a week after the Machine was collected, I was informed, during a telephone call I placed with Dell Technologies, that spare parts had been ordered. The database was consulted and I was told:
"It says here that spare parts were ordered for it, yesterday."
(i). Later, Dell told me it would only repair my machine if I allowed it to destroy my data - the evidence of the Campaign.
(ii). I refused to grant permission for the data to be destroyed and insisted it be repaired responsibly and reasonably, Dell Technologies refused to do so.
(iii). I wrote each member of the board of Dell Technologies, including Mr Michael Dell, explaining the importance of the data. I asked they repair the Machine without destroying the data, which could be done easily.
(iv). They refused to do so and the Machine was returned, after several weeks, without having been repaired.
9. Dell Technologies had the Machine for several weeks but could not say what had caused the problems: it made no effort to discover the cause of the problems. A firm would be expected to take any opportunity to discover why its product is failing. The Board was aware of this.
10. Dell Technologies and its Board of directors, including Mr Dell, repeatedly ignored pertinent questions I put to them, regarding the faults of Machine and the conduct of Dell, when they had it for repairs.
11. Dell Technologies denied spare parts had ever been ordered for the Machine. When I requested copies of the recording of the Call - Dell records telephone calls -, Dell Technologies, its Board and Mr Dell himself ignored the requests. It cannot be acceptable by default to record telephone calls and then to refuse to provide the other party in the conversation a copy of the recording.
12. The Machine was still under warranty but I had to take it to another firm and pay for it to be repaired without loss of data, which Dell had refused to do: knowing the importance of the data on the Machine, Dell insisted on destroying that data as a condition to repairing it. Mr Michael Dell and the board of Dell Technologies, at that time, supported that Decision.
13. This website, and certainly the site-proper, to follow, would not have been possible had I permitted Dell to destroy that evidence.
