Government of the United Kingdom

Sir Keir Starmer on What the Country Needs and how Labour Would Govern.

1. Government consists of three pillars. On this website, I use the word to mean the executive branch of government: the Prime Minister, departments and ministries and the people who manage them. The judiciary is treated separately and the House of Commons is treated by way of its members, under their parties and in the section: Committees of the House of Commons.
2. I have reported the matters treated on this website to the Prime Minister, Secretaries of State for Health and Justice and Home Secretaries and Cabinet ministers of every government of the UK since 2017.
3. I provided evidence supporting such statements as I made: much of it incontestable, all of it cogent, and I invited them to point out flaws in the logic or evidence. No one denied the validity of the statements I made but nothing was done. The grid, below, signposts descriptions of how each ministry or department has responded to my reports.
4. I also reported these matters to each of the opposition parties and their Shadow secretaries of state or spokespersons. They have not denied the validity of the statements made here, but they refused to act.
(i). Each of us will require the services of a doctor or nurse at some point, we all require an immaculate judiciary, parliament that upholds the law and governs properly, and reliable police. These people have made politics their life's work; what is the point of politics if they would countenance such threats?
(ii). And what of the judges, police officers, nurses, doctors, etc.? Everyone has abandoned his post: we are all exposed
5. The statement by Sir Keir Starmer (audio, above) was made on 08 July, 2022. I have not found it very useful when I tried to understand:
(i). why he did not challenge the Government on the matters I reported to him. He could have called for a vote of no confidence on those matters in 2020, there would probably have had to be a general election then and his party would likely have been entrusted with a majority of seats in Parliament.
(ii). Why he did not, at that time and since, including in Government, lead by example rather than by precept - his indifference to my reports shows he did not.
